I’m so grateful to the Ananda foundation for involving me in the various initiatives they have undertaken, to give back to the community. In the 6 years I’ve known about Ananda Foundation, they have never shied away from a chance to help the community. Our first initiative was the Plate to Planet initiative, where we enabled children to grow their own “kitchen gardens” and nurture these gardens. As the years progressed, we became involved in other activities like the Kotha Cheruvu lake cleanup, where we tried to revive the dying lakes in our city. Now GHMC, has come forward in the restoration and the beautification of these lakes.
The relentless work of the Ananda foundation and the volunteers, who have devoted themselves to the cause, has brought about a significant change. I would like to thank them for including me in their noble causes and I wish them the best for all their future endeavors.
The Ananda Foundation and its Volunteers worked year long to restore the balance between Development and the Environment in the city of Hyderabad. The Ananda Foundation gives us all hope and provides us opportunity to sustain the environment around us and in doing so we sustain ourselves . They have shown us the way by taking small steps that turn into bigger steps that inspire others to make small positive changes too . Kudos to their visionary leaders and their efforts to save Kotha Cherevu in our neighborhood. As a resident of the area, I appreciate all their persistent efforts in this regard!!
On behalf of the 'Ananda Foundation', Seetha Anand Vaidyam conducted an intensive 8 day Steiner-Waldorf Education Early Years Training in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2013. Participants were delighted with the broad base of the training, giving a healthy balance between theoretical and practical, creative activities. Seetha's knowledge base is extensive and she shares her knowledge in a readily accessible manner. Highly recommended.
